ALT Members Visit To The Latest Vegetable Research and Development Station in Thailand On 7th October 2023

The field visit hosted about 150 farmers and customers who accompanied our ALT leaders in the introduction and the field demonstration. During the event our leaders had the opportunity to meet and mingle with our customers and share their knowledge about the products and our future plans. Following the field trip, our ALT members were invited to join the opening of the new pathology lab  and Mr.Viroon Pattum (Vegetable breeder) introduced the farm facilities and shared the updates about the breeding activities in the field while showcasing tomato & hot pepper hybrids. At the end of the activity, and as part of our environmental and social responsibilty towards our community, ALT members were invited to join our team in a tree planting activity at the station area sheding the light on the importance of such activities for the team to connect and pay back to their society. The Khon Kaen Research & Development station in Thailand was established in 2020. The objective of this station is to develop a competitive vegetable variety for ASEAN region with key markets in Thailand ,Vietnam ,Indonesia ,Philippines ,Myanmar and some segment for India under Hot&Humid and Hot&Dry conditions.
