Output price uncertainty has been one of the major concerns in the farming community for a long time. The Recent global pandemic coupled with the unpredictable weather conditions, led the vegetable farmers to distress as the produce prices crashed. With no price protection schemes prevailing for these growers like MSPs for field crops, the farmers were not even able to recover their input cost let alone have any profits.

To cater to these needs of farmers, Advanta Seeds has partnered with nurture.farm to launch a first-of-its-kind product offering to de -risk farmers against market price fluctuations : 'Kavach Bhav Guarantee'. The Kavach Bhav Guarantee product aims to help farmers get fair value for their produce and minimize financial losses in case of produce price fluctuations . The lower output price would trigger the insurance and the compensation amount would be transferred to the farmer’s bank account as per the eligibility.
